Hello there and welcome to my very first blog post. I'm not sure how this is going to go or look but as always I'll chuck myself in at the deep end and see what happens haha.
So I figured why not start off with a subject that has got me super excited this week. Now if you follow either of my social media pages then you'll know that my dried flowers have kept me excited since the very first day I ordered them in. The more I do the more I want to do and so I just had to try this new project...the dried flower brooch/pashmina pin.
Oh my goodness I literally could not contain my happiness whilst taking my pictures and I have to say it stayed in place perfectly whilst I was busy faffing with dodgy angles, floppy hair, lighting and trying to keep out the chaos that is my home!
I wanted to just do something that was a slightly different angle to my norm yet still using what I love to work with. I also had an annoying experience one time at a wedding where I wore a pashmina but the weather was not my friend and kept blowing it off my shoulder, I'm there flicking it back into place whilst holding a drink and bag and shivering my bot off whilst desperately trying look lovely haha. It was extremely annoying but I most certainly won't have that problem anymore!
They are the perfect accessory not only for your pashminas but to add to an old favourite jacket or scarf to refresh, add to a summer bag to change up the look or send as a beautiful unique gift. This is just my first design and in my quieter periods I shall make a couple more designs for ideas for you. I'm always on the lookout for new florals and new ideas. I get my inspiration whilst out walking in the country and also passing shop windows seeing all the lovely colours out there. My journey has always taken its own direction. I'm lead more with my heart than trends which is me all over both personally and professionally and go with the flow.
Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays bashes, Races ready or simply THE most unique gift you could give, whatever your reason you're bound to get noticed!
